How to Boot into Safe mode from lock screen

• Go to the lock screen
• Hold down shift as you go to press the restart button in the bottom right of the screen
• Wait for the blue Windows recovery options screen to pop up
• Go to troubleshoot
• Advanced Options
• Go to Startup Settings
• Hit restart now
• Wait for the numbered options to pop up
• Hit f4 for Safe Mode
• Wait for the PC to boot into Safe mode
